Content Pseudo-TeX Translator Applet
Thomas Leathrum
Abstract:
In this presentation, the author will demonstrate the use of the Content
Pseudo-TeX Translator Applet, and related tools. The applet was designed as a
tool to simplify writing Content MathML for web pages. The applet takes input
in a ”TeX-like” syntax and translates it into strict Content MathML which can
be cut and pasted directly into pages. The demonstration will include basic
elements of the input syntax and how the translator converts to Content MathML,
as well as other tools related to the translator applet, such as software for
embedding the syntax directly in a XHTML page (instead of cutting and pasting
after translation) and a document stylesheet which combines the embedded syntax
with other LaTeX-like document structure elements.
