MathCoach is an web-based interface to a CAS and to the statistic system R. It allows the dynamical generation of mathematical and statistical exercises including theire solutions and it allows the online-generation of graphics which is important for experiments and for statistical data analysis. The most important thing of the MathCoach system is the dynamic generation of adaptive help and evaluation according to each solution step of the user.
The control of the interaction flow is done by an JAVA servlet using an XML based authoring script language called 'LAPLACE'. MathCoach is integrated as an web application in the system ActiveMath:Statistik which will also demonstrated.
